The Association for National Sports Federations (India) is a non-profit, non-political umbrella organization dedicated to promoting sports for all, education, research, and youth activities at national and international levels. Our mission aligns with the broader vision of spreading the Olympic Movement in India and beyond.

We are a national member of the Association for International Sports for All (TAFISA) and actively work towards fostering sportsmanship, youth development, and traditional Indian sports.

Aim & Objectives

The Association for National Sports Federations (India) is a non-profit, non-political umbrella organization dedicated to promoting sports, education, research, and youth activities at both national and international levels, in alignment with the Olympic Movement.

1. Promotion & Development of Sports

  • Organize and conduct sports classes, events, championships, tournaments, exhibitions, and demonstrations for members and trainees.
  • Promote and spread various sports disciplines across India.
  • Encourage participation in traditional and modern sports among youth and the general public.
  • Facilitate training by inviting national and international experts in sports and games.

2. National & International Collaboration

  • Affiliate and associate with national and international sports bodies for the promotion of sports.
  • Organize national and international sports events, championships, and tournaments.
  • Support and subsidize Indian athletes to participate in domestic and international sports competitions.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, institutions, and federations to execute sports-related projects.

3. Education, Training & Awareness

  • Conduct workshops, training programs, seminars, and lectures on sports and youth development.
  • Establish and manage sports training institutions and colleges.
  • Promote awareness of traditional Indian sports and cultural youth activities.
  • Offer low-cost or free training facilities to underprivileged communities.

4. Social & Cultural Responsibilities

  • Foster goodwill, sportsmanship, and community engagement among members.
  • Utilize sports as a tool to build social harmony and friendly societies.
  • Address social issues such as dowry, gender discrimination, and violence through sports and youth programs.
  • Organize cultural performances, exhibitions, and symposiums related to sports and youth activities.

5. Research, Publications & Consultancy

  • Publish literature, create audio-visual materials, and document sports techniques and stories.
  • Establish a knowledge hub for sharing sports-related research, expertise, and best practices.
  • Provide consultancy services to public and private institutions for sports development.

6. Administrative & Financial Management

  • Provide office space for all National Sports Federation (NSF) bodies.
  • Acquire, lease, or manage properties necessary for sports development.
  • Seek grants, funds, and donations to support various initiatives.
  • Collaborate with organizations having similar objectives for mutual growth.
